Putnam Valley Deli Sells $1 Million Powerball Ticket

We are part of The Trust Project

A $1 million Powerball lottery ticket was purchased in Putnam Valley this week, but as of Thursday afternoon no one has come forward to claim their prize, according to Powerball officials.
The ticket was purchased at Josan Putnam Valley Deli, located on Sunset Hill Road. One of three second-prize winners in New York, the ticket’s owner got the first five numbers right but missed the Powerball.
The $448 million jackpot saw three winners, two in New Jersey and one in Minnesota. Neither Powerball officials nor a person answering the phone at the deli knew when the ticket was sold.
