PARC Hosts 24th Annual Cablethon

We are part of The Trust Project

PARC will host its 24th Annual Anniversary Cablethon on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. live on Comcast Cable Channel 8.

Hosted by PARC’s Executive Director Susan Limongello and longtime PARC supporter Kevin Bailey, this two-hour broadcast is PARC’s opportunity to celebrate its commitment to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest quality of life and applaud the agency and staff members’ many accomplishments. The event, which first broadcast in 1992, has been PARC’s single largest fundraiser each year for the past 24 years.

This year’s live broadcast will include discussion of current issues in the area of developmental disabilities, guest interviews, visits from local leaders and members of the business community, and PARC participants and family members. New this year, the broadcast is moving to a prime-time slot from 6 to 8 p.m.

Recognized as a 501 c (3) in 1954, PARC provides programming and advocacy for over 650 children and adults with developmental disabilities within Putnam County and in southern Dutchess and northern Westchester counties. Money raised at PARC’s fundraising events, including the annual cablethon, directly benefit and impact people with disabilities.
