New Market in Mt. Kisco

We are part of The Trust Project

Although it uses the same space that last year housed the Community Markets’ managed indoor farmers’ market, this new collaboration between Boys and Girls Club, John Boy’s Farm, and Slow Food MetroNorth bears little resemblance to its predecessor.
While you will find vendors selling products common to most markets, the atmosphere of this new venture is most welcoming. With activities for children, lots of food to sample, demonstrations to watch, live music, and a few cafe tables to sit at to take it all in, this market is truly a community asset.
I was impressed with the number of vendors and the quality of their goods. Offerings include fish, meat, eggs, baked goods and breads, gourmet ravioli, cheeses, pickles, soaps, and beautiful fruits and vegetables of all sizes, shapes, and colors. So nice to see during the long, dull winter!

Yogurt, oyster mushrooms, kirby cukes, cashew butter and tilapia from today's market

Plan to spend some time there on Saturday mornings. Enjoy leaving winter outside, seeing your friends and neighbors, shopping locally, and supporting farmers. You’ll take with you a nourished mind, body and soul!

The market is open Saturdays 9am-1pm. Find it in the gym of The Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester, 351 Main Street in Mt. Kisco.
