FASNY Pubic Hearings Venue Changed
The public hearings for the French American School of New York site plan application and the discontinuance of a portion of Hathaway Lane will continue on Monday, Sept. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the White Plains High School Auditorium located at 550 North Street.
This is a new location from the previously scheduled Council Chambers at City Hall.
Complaints by the public that inadequate seating arrangements at City Hall, requiring video transmission in some areas of the building rather than face to face contact between the attendees and the Council, seemed to encourage the venue change.
This is the last public hearing on the FASNY proposals before the final vote is made by the Council.
A speaker sign up sheet will be available starting at 5 p.m. on that date outside the auditorium.
