An electronic traffic sign that alerts drivers along Route 312 to road construction was changed to show support for this year’s most controversial presidential candidate.

The sign was changed to “Trump 2016” last month by an unknown person or group and now, the case is actually under investigation by the New York State Police, according to an NBC report.

The altered sign was posted on Facebook, which caused some buzz among residents in the area. Trump, the Republican frontrunner, even posted the photo to his Facebook page, but later deleted it, according to the report.

The electronic sign was quickly changed back by a Department of Transportation contractor to its regular alert about upcoming construction on the road.

The Republican and Democratic primaries in New York take place April 19.
